Key Coaching Career Services
1. Coaching Services
1.1. The Client is entitled to up to 4.5 hours of coaching per month for a maximum of 6 months.
1.2. Coaching sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreeable times between the Coach and the Client.
2. Agreement Duration
2.1. The initial agreement is for 6 months from the date of signing.
2.2. If the Client has been diligent in their job search and met all targets set by the Coach, an additional 6 months of coaching can be negotiated.
2.3. Extension of the agreement will involve an increase in the percentage of first-year salary and cap, to be agreed upon by both parties.
2.4. Exceptions to the 6-month limit may be made for verifiable incidents beyond the Client's control which may have prevented them from executing the job search for a short period.
3. Payment Structure
3.1. The Client agrees to pay 5% of their first-year base salary, subject to the following caps:
- For base salaries under $100,000: Cap of $5,000
- For base salaries between $100,000 - $150,000: Cap of $7,500
- For base salaries over $150,000: Cap of $10,000
3.2. The minimum base salary threshold for this agreement is $70,000. If the Client accepts a position with a base salary below this threshold, alternative payment terms will be negotiated.
3.3. Payment is calculated based on base salary only. Any bonuses, stock options, or other forms of compensation are not included in the calculation.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. Full payment is due no later than 6 months after the Client's first day of new employment.
4.2. The Client may choose to pay in installments, provided the full amount is paid by the 6-month deadline.
5. Verification of Employment and Salary
5.1. The Client agrees to submit a copy of their offer letter to konrad@keycoaching.co by the first day of new employment.
5.2. The Client will email konrad@keycoaching.co from their new employer email address on the first day of employment, confirming they have started the new position.
6. Change of Employment
6.1. If the Client changes jobs within the 6-month period following initial employment, the agreement will be reassessed based on the new base salary if it is higher than the original job's base salary.
6.2. In the event of a reassessment, the higher of the two salaries will be used to calculate the payment due.
6.3. Regardless of any job changes or reassessments, the payment due date remains fixed at 6 months from the first day of employment with the initial employer, as specified in section 4.1.
6.4. If the reassessment results in a higher payment amount, the Client will be responsible for paying the difference between the original amount and the new amount by the original due date.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1. The Client agrees to actively participate in the coaching process, including attending scheduled sessions and completing agreed-upon tasks.
7.2. The Client commits to conducting a diligent job search, including meeting application and networking targets set in collaboration with the Coach.
8. Early Termination
8.1. If the Client wishes to terminate the agreement before securing employment, they may do so by paying a fee equal to 50% of the Coach's standard upfront fee for the chosen service tier.
8.2. The Coach reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Client consistently fails to meet agreed-upon responsibilities and targets, subject to a 30-day improvement period following written warning.
9. Confidentiality
9.1. The Coach agrees to keep all Client information, including salary details, strictly confidential.
9.2. The Client agrees to keep the terms of this agreement confidential.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. Any disputes arising from this agreement will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
10.2. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to seek mediation before pursuing legal action.
